Welcome

I am truly honored to serve as the TSPE Preston Trail Chapter President for the term 2023-2024.

TSPE was founded in 1936 to serve interests of the individual engineer in Texas across all disciplines of engineering. I will work with  the Board Officers and Committee Chairs to continue with TSPE’s mission to promote and enhance the profession and licensed practice of engineering. My team will make certain that all members feel welcomed and that their voices are heard. At Preston Trail, we have focused and will continue to inspire the next generation of engineers. We will raise awareness of the engineering profession through PE Day at the Capitol and at the annual Engineers Week luncheon held in February. The annual Mathcounts event (also in February) continues to be our biggest event for middle school students. We will engage with the local community in activities such as Career Days to help promote students into engineering fields. Other community related events will be park clean-up day or the Christmas Toy Drive in December. We will also attempt to retain and gain new members throughout our membership drive events and annual Bowling Competition this Fall.

We will provide continuing education opportunities through our traditional monthly luncheons which are held every third Thursday of each month at the Gleneagles Country Club (5401 W. Park Blvd Plano, Texas 75093).
