Welcome

I am honored to be able to serve the Preston Trail Chapter of TSPE as President for this 2025-2026 term.

TSPE, or the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, is one of the largest state societies in the United States. TSPE was founded in 1936 to serve the interests of the individual engineer in Texas across all disciplines of engineering.

The Preston Trail Chapter of TSPE was founded in 1970 and has been steadily growing ever since. Our chapter service area is defined as the area within Collin and Dallas Counties north of IH 30 and 635, and Rockwall County north of IH 30.

As your president, I, along with the Board Officers and Committee Chairs, will work to continue with TSPE’s mission to promote and enhance the profession and licensed practice of engineering.  In the TSPE Preston Trail Chapter, we strive to make your representation, comments, and concerns known.  It is our duty to inspire the next generation of engineers and foster a strong relationship with members.

Our website helps to connect members and non-members to our upcoming events, past events, and meetings.

Our monthly meetings are held every fourth Thursday of each month at Gleneagles Country Club – 5401 West Park Boulevard, Plano, Texas 75093 – and provide a meal, valuable networking opportunities, and continuing education (PDH) hours.

Our membership and continuing duty to engineers starts with your membership to TSPE. TSPE is the only active, established organization devoting its entire effort to the professional, ethical, economic, social and political aspects of engineering in Texas. I implore you to attend our meetings, meet your fellow engineers and sign up as a member of the TSPE Preston Trail Chapter.
